AUSTIN, TX (Dec. 1, 2016) – Allens Boots Center, Inc. has today announced its Lone Star Sponsorship of the Texas State Society of Washington D.C.’s 2017 Texas Black Tie and Boots Presidential Inaugural Ball. The iconic boot retailer has teamed up with Lucchese Bootmaker and Stetson Hatco to officially outfit Washington D.C. in true Texas fashion. With a combined Texas lineage of 325 years, there is no better representation of Texas style than a pair of Lucchese Boots and a Stetson hat.
Allens Boots, is honored to sell the 2017 commemorative cowboy boots and hats at one of the most popular inaugural balls.
“This is a great opportunity for us [Allens Boots] to expand our name and our brand at the national level,” said Allens Boots President Steve Greenberg.
Allens Boots has been partnering with Lucchese Bootmaker for over a decade outfitting the Texas Legislature with their “extra special” Texas State Seal boots. It was this partnership that got Allens Boots noticed and a personal invitation from US Congressman Randy Weber to bring their Texas-style boots and hats to the 2017 Texas Black Tie and Boots Presidential Inaugural Ball.
“Texans take their boots very seriously,” said Allens Boots Head of Operations Erin Slade. “Not that being Texan isn’t enough of a reason to be loud and proud; it’s how we identify ourselves — as Texans — in far-off places and gives us a sense of comradery.”
All who attend the 2017 Texas Black Tie and Boots Inaugural Ball on January 19, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center will have the opportunity to purchase their own customized “extra special” Texas boots and hats from Allens Boots. Not only will ball attendees be able to order the Texas State Seal on their boots, but this will also be the only time Allens Boots will offer the 2017 Texas Black Tie and Boots Presidential Inaugural Ball Seal on both boots and hats.
